The concept of memory is particularly relevant in this project for a house in Praglia (Padova - Italy). The client, a couple living in the adjacent villa, requested a new smaller home able to maximise the views towards their garden and be a smaller shelter for their older age.
The proposed design organises the program around a fluid space inspired by the walks that the owner used to have with his son in the nearby Praglia Abbey. That space, while connecting the clearly defined components that the residential program requires, opens views towards the garden and makes it into a real protagonist of the daily experience of the house.
